Our Current Workshops
Our workshops are designed to teach you how to plan, plant, and maintain the garden of your dreams. In each class, we use container gardens to provide a hands on experience while teaching the fundamentals of plant selection, planting, nutrition, and hygiene. All workshops include a container, plants, soil, amendments, and tools.
Tropical Plants Workshop
Houston is known for its hot and humid summers and this workshop is about the plants thrive in that tropical climate. We will explore how to select the right tropical plant for your garden, how to care for it, and how to treat common issues while planting your own tropical planter. We will also cover how best to protect these plants during our freezes.

Native Plants Workshop
There are dozens of reasons to “plant navtive”, but the real question is how. In this hands on workshop, we cover how to select, plant, and care for Texas natives by planting a container garden full of them.
